βThis Valentineβs Day, they once again showed their generosity by bringing in close to 40 purses filled with jewelry, chocolate, makeup, and more. β
Their consistent kindness over the past few years has made a significant difference in the lives of those we serve at Ruth & Naomi's.
The After Hours Rotary club was looking for a community outreach project that would encourage and support single Mom's. RAN family centre had opened and we came up with the idea of collecting gently used handbags and filling them with special gifts just for the women. Donations have come from Mary Kay, dental office, special soap made by a member and cash donation made by our members. The joy this brings motivates us to keep this project going. β
