π§Άπ Unity Christian School students embarked on a heartwarming knitting journey alongside grandparents and teachers, all with the beautiful intention of giving back to the Chilliwack community. β

Just like our garden boxes project, this initiative was part of our "Love Where You Live" theme week, where students discovered the joy of cultivating their talents to serve others.β
π During this special week, Unity Christian staff & parents witnessed incredible dedication from their kiddos, some of whom were so eager to serve that they willingly sacrificed their breaks to form a knitting club. β
βThis club became a hub of learning and creativity, extending the knitting skills they had learned in the classroom.β
βπͺ‘ This particular knitting session holds a special place in our hearts as it was dedicated in loving memory of Lavonne Nussbaum. Lavonne not only crafted beautiful items but also generously donated many of the supplies that made this heartwarming project possible. Her legacy lives on in every stitch and in the kindness we continue to share with our beloved Chilliwack community. ππ§£π§‘οΈβ
