Your kind gift of $25, $50 or $100 isn’t just about a meal—it’s a message of love and belonging.

This Thanksgiving, someone will sit down to a warm plate and read your words of encouragement.

That moment could mean everything.

This Thanksgiving, hundreds of people in our community—many experiencing homelessness, addiction, or the long road to recovery—will walk through our doors hoping for more than just a meal.

They’re looking for dignity. For connection. For hope.

At Ruth & Naomi’s Mission, we believe no one should face Thanksgiving alone or hungry. But we can’t do it without you.

Every day, we serve over 600 meals to people who are hurting, hungry and also taking brave steps forward on their journey. But on Thanksgiving, the need is even greater. More than 300 people will come seeking not just food—but a place to belong.

Will you help us fill the table with more than just a meal this Thanksgiving?

Your gift today will help us prepare and serve over 300 special Thanksgiving meals—with all the fixings: roasted turkey, creamy mashed potatoes, stuffing, fresh-baked rolls, pumpkin pie, and warm coffee. But more than that, you’ll help create a space of kindness, warmth, and community.

As *Dan, one of our participants, recently said:

“You can’t be depressed when you’re eating a meal with great people.”

That’s the power of a shared meal.

It’s not just about food—it’s about being seen,

heard, and welcomed.

$25 provides 5 Thanksgiving meals.

$50 provides 10 Thanksgiving meals.

$100 provides 20 Thanksgiving meals.

$200 helps sustain our daily meal and food security programs.

Every meal is served with compassion and a message that says:

You matter. You’re not alone.

Without your help, a mother in recovery might spend the holiday alone. A man experiencing homelessness might walk away hungry, reminded again of what it feels like to be invisible. Someone battling addiction might miss the one moment of connection that could spark a turning point.

Thanksgiving is more than a meal—it’s a chance to remind people they matter.

*Jason, who lives at our Interchange supportive housing site, told us:

“I feel safe living at Interchange and not alone. It feels like community.”

That’s what your gift creates—a sense of safety, belonging, and family.

Your gift today ensures that when Thanksgiving arrives, every person who walks through our doors is met with a warm meal, a welcoming smile, and the message: You are not forgotten.

Please send your gift by October 8th so we can prepare these meals in time.

And this year, we’re inviting you to do something extra special:

Write a short Thanksgiving message of hope, a prayer, or a blessing on the enclosed response card. We’ll place your message at someone’s seat during the meal. Your words could be the encouragement they need to keep going.

And when you give, we’d love to show you the impact you’ve made. Share your email or phone number, and we’ll send you a photo from the Thanksgiving meal you helped make possible—along with a short story and a thank-you message from our team.

Together, we can turn compassion into action.

We can turn gratitude into hope.

We can turn a meal into a moment that changes everything.

Will you help us fill the table this Thanksgiving?

P.S. When you give $25, $50, or any amount that means something to you, you’re not just feeding someone—you’re joining a community that believes in second chances, shared meals, and the power of hope. Please give by October 8th.
